PArC’17

This year’s curatorial project of Del Infinito Gallery for the 2017 edition of the international fair PARC is composed by artists Rogelio Polesello, Andrés Sobrino, Luis Tomasello, and Ventoso.

While Polesello participates with a series of plexiglass pieces from the 1960s and 1970s, with which he extended the limits of his work while generating changes in perception; Andrés Sobrino presents recent work that rescues forgotten elements of everyday life with the aim of creating plastic exercises that allow him to get away from the wall. Luis Tomasello, from whom a unique piece is presented that reaffirms his role as a “playmaker” through his investigations in the field of geometric abstraction through the serial repetition of the same element generating the optical impression of movement. Finally, Ventoso presents a series of pieces that demonstrate his study and handling of unconventional materials, through a thorough investigation of volume.

All of them manage to awaken concerns in the viewer, exploring the field of optical geometry and raising the concept of a work of art, which has not stopped questioning, pushing the limits again and again, and in this way posing enormous challenges that are they disguise in the most subtle plastic elegance.
