Following a season of great news and extensive participation in international exhibitions, Matilde Marín presents 25 FPS (frames per second) at Del Infinito gallery. This exhibition brings together two of the most recent video pieces by the Argentine artist in alternated projection. The videos Only a breeze sighed and Ocean Sea have been part of exhibitions held in Argentina and special guests in Saudi Arabia for BIENALSUR 2021.
Marín is a video art pioneer; her work dynamic, in series, proposes that each manifestation adopts different formats and experimentations. Video art is and has been and a fundamental part of these developments. 25FPS seeks to continue the difussion of Marín’s work as a video artist, which remains deeply related to her work as an experienced photographer and printmaker.
